What is Evil?
Here's some notes that I found compelling/questioned:
• Opposition and to stop listening to someone is a part of the seed of evil
• “Finite players play for immortality” doesn’t the infinite player obtain immortality because they “live for the play of others”?
• Ideology can be evil because it silences voices
• “Evil is never intended as evil. Indeed, the contradiction inherent in all evil is that it originates in the desire to eliminate evil.”
• The seed of evil is wanting to change others because you think they’re wrong
• “Infinite players do not attempt to eliminate evil in others, for to do so is the very impulse of evil itself, therefore a contradiction. They only attempt to paradoxically recognize in themselves the evil that takes the form of attempting to eliminate evil elsewhere”
Some things I disagree with:
• Everyone has choice, no matter if they’re an infinite player or not
• How can it be evil for one to fight to be seen as who they are? How does evil play into uncontrollable biological factors?

Something you said sparked this thought. "Like we said, the very act of attempting to eliminate the evil in others, to silence their opinion, or cease to listen to their point of view, is the very act of evil itself. Imagine for a moment it you will a road, and on either side of the road are two opposing points of view, picketing and chanting for themselves and against the other. The topic doesn't matter.
Abortion, Gay rights, Communism, Unions. To carse, the act of attempting to silence the other, that's evil. When we are so blinded by our righteousness that no other solution exists but our own, that's evil." I suppose my question is in relation to this: How can it be evil to fight for others not to silence your own expression? Wouldn't that be an evil you inflict onto yourself by not allowing yourself to be heard? And I don't agree everyone has a choice. Here's a drastic example: I have been taught for quite a while now that I am in control of my emotions, and therefore I have the choice to choose how I feel at any given moment. With this idea in mind, if something objectively bad happened to me (like a kidnapping or some other form of drastic evilness), how could I choose to be happy in this moment? Would I be falling victim to becoming a finite player because I cannot choose to be happy in this scenario?
